Logistics

Program (May 3rd to 5th 2019)

Situation

You can walk from SBB Bahnhof (black dot in the map) to the department of physics (red dot). It takes 30 minutes.

You can take the tram 11 on platform H in direction Basel, St-Louis Grenze and go out at the station St.Johanns Tor (purple dot). The trip takes 12 minutes and the tram frequency is every 10 minutes.

Additionally you can take the bus 30 on platform C in direction Basel, Badischer Bahnhof and go out at the station Bernoullianum (green dot). The trip takes 6 minutes and the bus frequency is every 8 minutes.

Further Information

Available Spots:

There will be 40 spots. The main rule is first come first served, but we will also try to maintain a balanced participation from all universities involved, so there will be around 7 to 8 places for each university.

Costs:

The cost of participation is 25 CHF. The accommodation in the hotel, the meals and transportation during the event are all included.

Hotel:

The hotel is not located in Basel, but in Pratteln. It is the Hotel Ibis budget. The journey from Pratteln to Basel takes 30 minutes.
