Event Description
This year’s forum will feature the topic “Ultra Fast Laser Physics“ and will be hosted at the EPFL in Lausanne. As with past forums, the YPF’s main attraction is a series of lectures on this year’s topic, held by various Professors and other experts in the field. Participants who register for the event will be able to spend an entire weekend, from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning, together with like-minded physics students from all swiss universities, enjoying the lecture series and a series of social fun events to allow the students to make acquaintances, discuss, reflect, network and have an overall fun, physics-themed weekend.
To allow students from all swiss universities to attend the event on a low budget, we offer access to accommodation, meals and public transport in the host city for a relatively low entrance fee (more info under registration). This is achieved through financial support of our various sponsors, all of whom support our goal of creating a vibrant network of physics student in Switzerland.
